Hello! :) My name is Chua Shuyi and this blog is dedicated to my exploration and investigation of Singaporean attitudes towards Biological Conservation! :)
Before I begin, I would wish to give thanks!
Firstly, would really want to thank Professor Hugh Tan for giving me this project to do. And his two graduate students - Xingli and Chow Khoon who conceived this project!
Secondly, thank you Kok Sheng whose life and blog inspired this blog as well! :) You can visit his blog at http://cjproject.blogspot.com/
Thirdly, thank you Michelle for all your advice and help so far and also for believing in me.
And also to thank everybody else who have contributed in one way or another and given me input on whether and how I should I do this project.
It is my hope that this journey will greatly benefit Singaporeans, whether decision makers - to have a better understanding of the psyche of locals towards biological conservation; or Singaporeans - who will ultimately be affected by decisions made by the former.
But most importantly this project will also be my personal discovery and adventure in learning!
